Friends of the White River have agreed to team up with the WRYC to do a river cleanup this coming Satuday, Oct. 10, 9am - 12pm between the 82nd St bridge down to the Broad Ripple spillway. Two teams will stage - at the Yacht Club ramp and the other at the Broad Ripple boat ramp. We will need volunteer pontoons and fishing boats that are able to clean the plastic out of the trees and junk left behind from the recent flood. There will be a dumpster at the WRYC boat ramp. Long poles with a grab fork, knives and scissors are suitable tools for reaching the plastic

in the trees.
